Environmental and Studio Portraits of Puddles.
August 11th, 2010Mike Geier and Georgie stopped by the studio recently for a portrait session involving the ever charismatic Puddles. www.puddlespityparty.com, www.bigmikegeier.com
We took some photographs inside the studio, and then ventured out into the hot weather and walked down the railroad tracks outside the studio for a portrait. Thanks to the Profoto Pro 7-B 1200 for the light on the environmental portrait! In house retouching by Brad Kaye.

Get Lost! with the Library of Congress.
July 29th, 2010I like to visit the Library of Congress on occasion for inspiration. Here are a couple of links and some images to get you started. The pictures below are from the Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information, and were captured between 1939 and 1943 throughout the United States.
Jack Delano, Walker Evans, Dorthea Lange, Sheldon Dick, Russell Lee, Gordon Parks, Arthur Rothstein, John Vachon, and Marion Post Wolcott all shot for the Farm Security. Now go, Get Lost!
